Guan District Profile

Guan District is one of the nine Administrative Districts of the Oti Region with a population of 29,435, is home to 32 communities and a 2.1% population growth rate. The District Health Directorate, located at Likpe Bakua Polyclinic using the theater as District Health Administration office, provides administrative and support services to peripheral facilities. The district has various health faclities distributions including a Polyclinic, Six(6) Health Centres, Ten (10) CHPS Zones making a total of 17 Facilities. The District Health Management Team oversees service provision, equity of access, health system development, disease surveillance, training, and collaboration.
