Profile

Background

Born on the 7th September 1981 at the 2BN Medical Reception Station in Takoradi. Completed my basic education at 5BN Basic school Burma Camp, Accra in 1997. Proceeded to Aggrey Memorial Zion Senior High School from 1998 to 2000. Gained Admission to the College of Health, Kintampo from October 2001 to August 2004 as a Technical Officer Health Information. Posted to the Upper East Region in November 2004. We were given three (3) months orientation at the Regional Health Directorate before my posting to the then Builsa District in February 2005. I had my appointment on the 2nd January 2005 and worked in the Builsa District till September 2010 when I was reposted to the Regional Health Directorate’ Health Information Unit.

In 2013, I was given additional responsibility as the Regional Malaria and Integrated Management of Childhood Illness Focal Person after I graduated from the Presbyterian University – Okwahu Campus in 2012 and obtained a BSc in ICT. I had the opportunity to study in South Korea at the Hanyang university – Seoul Campus and graduated with an MSc in Global Health and Development. I was given the role of Regional Monitoring & Evaluation Officer from February 2018 till my assignment to the Bongo District Health Directorate on 27th May 2019 as Acting District Director of Health Service and eventual appointment as the District Director of Health Service on the 2nd September 2019. Worked with the team in Bongo District and achieved a lot within the three years. I was reposted to the Bolgatanga Municipal Health Directorate on 30th June 2022 till date.
